About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Specialist Consultant with in-depth knowledge of standards including ISO 17025 (Laboratory Management), ISO 17020 (Inspection Bodies), ISO 17065 (Product Certification), ISO 50001 (Energy Management), and API Q1/Q2 (Quality Management for Oil and Gas). The role involves providing expert consultancy in documentation, training, and auditing to help clients achieve and maintain compliance while driving operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities
- Implementation of Standards:
- Guide organizations in implementing ISO 17025, ISO 17020, ISO 17065, ISO 50001, and API Q1/Q2 standards tailored to their specific needs.
- Develop practical and effective strategies for achieving certification and maintaining compliance.
- Documentation Development:
- Prepare, review, and maintain comprehensive documentation, including policies, procedures, manuals, and records required by the respective standards.
- Training and Knowledge Transfer:
- Deliver training programs and workshops for employees and management on the requirements and implementation of relevant standards.
- Empower clients to independently manage their systems and sustain compliance.
- Auditing and Compliance Support:
- Conduct internal audits and gap analyses to assess compliance with applicable standards.
- Assist clients in preparing for third-party audits and certification processes.
- Develop corrective action plans to address non-conformities and ensure continuous improvement.
- Performance and Risk Management:
- Perform risk assessments and recommend measures to mitigate risks associated with energy management, quality assurance, and certification processes.
- Monitor and optimize management systems to improve operational efficiency and compliance.
- Advisory and Continuous Improvement:
- Offer expert advice to clients on best practices, regulatory changes, and emerging trends.
- Drive continuous improvement in quality, energy management, and certification processes.
Qualifications and Skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Quality Management, Energy Management, or a related field.
- Extensive experience in implementing, auditing, and training for ISO 17025, ISO 17020, ISO 17065, ISO 50001, and API Q1/Q2 standards.
- Certifications such as Lead Auditor or Lead Implementer in relevant standards are highly desirable.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail in documentation and compliance.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with clients and diverse teams.
- Proficiency in risk assessment methodologies and management system optimization.
- Ability to manage multiple projects, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines.
- Willingness to travel to client sites as required.
