ISO 22301

ISO 22301 – Business Continuity Management Systems

The ISO 22301, published in 2012, was the first of its kind standard to define requirements for security and resilience in business processes and systems, thereby ensuring uninterrupted services. It was further updated in 2019 to align with the latest trends and best practices in business continuity management. It has been designed to easily integrate with an organization’s existing management processes.

ISO 22301 is applicable to all organizations, regardless of size, industry or nature of business, and is relevant to stakeholders directly involved in business continuity and risk management within an organization, including supply chain directors, audit managers and corporate social responsibility managers.

Though the standard does not mandate a certification, it can be a basis to demonstrate your organization’s adherence to globally recognized best practices.
